The purpose of this group and programming is to create a good foundation for young baseball players. Each week is comprised of strength, speed, agility, mobility, and recovery. We have focused on developing the athlete first, so performance will increase. At the same time we are minimizing injuries and seeing the bigger picture.
We get asked all of the time what kind of gym we are. My answer is to them........ We are our own kind of gym, and we don't really fit into any “category”. Instead of categorizing our gym, I like to compare Functional Effect to a fitness travel agency. (Stay with me, I promise it will make sense!) "Fitness" is your around-the-world, lifetime journey. The coaches at Functional Effect serve as your tour guides, helping you navigate your personalized map, allowing you to reach your destination safely while minimizing detours. Also there to help you to make adjustments to your route, the coaches redirect you if you should happen to travel off-course, as well as hold you accountable for reaching each checkpoint along the way.
